Coming into the year’s end, I want to thank you for your support throughout 2013.
It’s been a wonderful year of music making, travelling and meeting new people. I’ve enjoyed the new & familiar faces alike from both on & off stage.
Thank you to the many venues that hosted me this year. In PA: Calliope, The Folk Music Society at The University of Pittsburgh and Cornerstone TV Ministries. In NY: The Alive with Clive Show, The Bean Runner Café in Peekskill, High Falls Café in High Falls, The Starving Artist in New York among others.
Also, I’m proud to share this: “Longer Arms” won Best Song on Broadjam.com. “Love Is” won Top Five in Song of the Year.com and “Tracy Loves Ray” won Best Folk Song of the Month in International Songwriting.
My newest CD, Greetings From The Wilderness, produced at LightBody Music,NY, by Richard Martinez and my musical collaborator and partner, Lisa Jane Lipkin and was released this year to nice reviews and steady sales. It’s available, along with all previous releases, through Itunes.com, CDBaby.com, and through my website, www.jayhitt.com. It’s still possible to have an autographed copy in your stocking by Christmas and I’ll pay the shipping!
I have one more gig near Pittsburgh this year. I’ll be with Lisa at the Community Coffeehouse in Ligonier, PA. 7:00 PM at 20 Springer Road, Ligonier, PA. It’s $5.00 at the door and proceeds benefit the Ligonier Valley Youth Network.
I can’t even begin to talk about all the exciting things in store for 2014, but stayed tuned & I’ll surely keep you posted (as soon as I figure them all out).
Have Merryness and Happytude!!!!
